ERP Engineering Support Analyst

  • Collaborates in the establishment of information technology standards for related data, processes, systems and services by conferring with users; analyzing process and needs; determining access, information, and security requirements; designing administration standards across all IT technologies.  Identifies gaps and designs new standards as needed to address those gaps.  May present standards to the IT director for review, discussion, and approval.
  • Analyzes existing related IT systems and processes to evaluate effectiveness and develops for improvements where required.
  • Reviews existing system capabilities, solution requirements, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested solution is possible with existing deployed services.
  • Independently maintain and update configuration models and tables.
  • Lead the accurate and timely distribution of product configuration information.
  • Independently provide on-going problem solving and troubleshooting support.
  • Provide regular communication with Engineering Support customers regarding product configuration information, bills-of-materials, production routings, etc.
  • Maintain historical records by documenting solution deployments and revisions.
  • Provide solution support to end users as required.
  • Lead and coordinate Engineering Support projects as assigned.
  • Train and mentor other members of the Engineering Support team, supporting learning and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide emergency / off hour support of supported systems if needed.
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

  • Bachelor’ s degree in an engineering discipline, or related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating and maintaining of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routings.
  • [Preferred] Proficiency in Infor’ s Syteline manufacturing and Trilogy configuration systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on Engineering Support projects.
  • General programming skills, problem solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
