Field Research Coordinator

  • Assists in the collection of accurate statistical information for uses in the development and publication of test products and services.  
  • May perform a variety of filling, scoring, checking, coding and data entry/verification tests related to the development of test products and services.
  • Identify existing and potential examiners and sites, including but not limited to, searches in the system database, internet searches, and call lists that meet project criteria, and communicate knowledgeably about current and/or forthcoming projects to elicit their participation in the project.
  • Complete all follow-through tasks associated with bringing a site and/or an examiner on board including, but not limited to, developing letters, overseeing mailing of specific site and examiner project materials, and handling agreements within 24 hours of examiner contact.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with examiners, in order to communicate the populations, numbers, and validities required for each respective project.
  • Return messages within 1 business day.
  • Maintain contact with examiners on a bi-weekly basis, dependent upon project needs and maintain a record in the system.
  • Fill portion of the sample assigned on time.
  • Understand the sampling matrix and assign cases that fill the requirements in the sample.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Marketing, customer service, psychology, or recruiting background.
  • Professional demeanor to identify and recruit examiner/sites.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Punctual.
  • Highly Organized.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • The ability to Multi-Task.
  • Positive, can-do attitude is critical.
  • Competent in the use of Excel, Access, and Web Based applications.
  • Customer service skills.
  • 0-3 years’ experience.
  • Research role experience even as a graduate or under grad.
  • Coordinator experience.
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or near completion in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Communication, Business, or other closely related degree.
