  • May work at the direction of a program manager.
  • Manages project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Creates and executes project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Leads the project team.
  • Manages day-to-day operational tasks (e.g., ensures contracts are in place, project systems is set up for the project, invoicing, etc.)
  • Conducts project kick off meetings.
  • Reviews deliverables (e.g., proposals, contracts, etc.) to ensure the appropriate client-templates are utilized and contract requirements are fulfilled.
  • Effectively applies Project Management Institute (PMI) or Scrum Master based on our client’ s methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Manages engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ensure project is meeting stakeholder needs.
  • Risk mitigation planning and execution.
  • Ensures internal project documents/artifacts are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

  • Facilitates post-project Lessons Learned Sessions/audit and documents/posts to the PS SharePoint site.
  • Manages escalated support with project team.
  • Manages project budget (expense and revenue).
  • Ensures timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Sets up projects in project systems under the direction of a program manager.
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
  • Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
  • Understands service pricing model and billing procedures.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue
  • Assures project contracts are completed and signed before work begins.

      Manages day-to-day customer interaction.
  • Sets and manages customer expectations.
  • Develops lasting relationships with customer personnel that foster customer ties.
  • Communicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Builds a knowledge base of each customer' s business, organization and objectives.
  • Employs the Consultative Services methodology.
  • Administers customer surveys (bi-annually or post-project)
  • Service recovery on specific customer/project issues.
  • Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively.
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team.
  • Prepares and effectively communicates relevant project status information to stakeholders.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Business Development: Possesses a thorough understanding of the project and related services and can effectively convey that knowledge to customers and product managers.
  • Identifies " add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
  • Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping.
  • Effectively conveys our client’ s message in both written and verbal business development discussions.
  • Communicates customer/market needs to product management.
  • Participates or manages continuous improvement of the service.
  • Possesses general understanding of our client’ s products and services.
  • Possesses a thorough understanding of Professional Services capabilities.
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and under the direction of the program manager the potential application on customer engagements.
  • Solid understanding of products/services within the project (e.g., technical architecture of the product at a business level, working knowledge of the regulations, etc.).
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions and executes upon those ideas.
  • Leads internal teams/task forces (e.g., OpEx initiatives)
  • Ensures that team members' time and expenses are reported in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reviews the status updates of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce policies and procedures.
  • Documentation of processes/procedures.
  • Participates in creating interdepartmental process flows.
  • SAP set up for service (materials).
  • Coaching/Mentoring Working closely with resource managers, provides performance evaluation input and performance improvement objectives; trains and mentors team members.
  • Provides performance evaluation input.
  • Identify performance improvement objectives and coaches team members on meeting project objectives.
  • Keeps resource manager informed of team member performance.
  • Mentors those with less experience through formal and informal channels.
  • Seeks and participates in development opportunities.

  • Bachelor’ s Degree preferred in Business, Computer Science, BCIS, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7+ project management experience or equivalent
  • Demonstrated leadership of successful project initiatives
  • Demonstrated consulting experience with a Professional Services organization preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or working to obtain certification in a timeframe agreed upon with your manager and/or Certified Scrum Master
  • Communication: Effectively communicates with team and stakeholders.
  • Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor. Manages the team development cycle (forming, storming norming, and performing).
  • Manages the process of innovative change effectively.
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member' s contributions.
  • Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
