Accela Lead Developer / Architect (#7158)

 

Accela is a web-based software used by government agencies for licensing, planning, asset management etc.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead efforts associated with Accela scripting and reporting
  • Promote, protect and advance the architectural integrity of the Accela’ s product platform
  • Provide architectural direction and conduct software design reviews
  • Translate high level business requirements in to technical requirements and designs
  • Provide guidance to maintain consistency, compatibility and interoperability between various Accela solutions
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to roll out architecture initiatives
  • Research and stay current with advancement of Accela software technology
  • Serve as technical spokesperson for Accela solutions to customers, VARs and other departments

 

Required Qualifications
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 2 years working with Accela
  • Strong technical leadership skills to build technical consensus cross functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and spatial reasoning stills
  • Independent, innovative thinker with creative, resourceful and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Location:             Lansing, MI

Duration:            Long-term Contract (12+ months)
