Assistant Product Marketing Manager

**W2 contract, Ridgefield Park, NJ**

The Assistant Product Marketing Manager manages the operational components of the home appliance business and executes product marketing plans for assigned products. Responsibilities to include:
  • ROI analysis pre and post promotional activity
  • Sales deduction management and forecasting
  • Markdown planning for new model introduction
  • Promotional roadmap planning and management
  • Inventory Management
  • Prepares launch plans and coordinates new product launch activities (e.g., concept, packaging, legal approvals, alignment with branding, product demos).
  • Competitive pricing reporting with business implications and generated solutions
  • Management of Demand generation activities and activation
  • KPI Targeting and tracking for revenue, profit, market share
  • Collaboration with sales team on market executions and on WOS maintenance
  • Product training planning
  • Product pitching at key events and meetings
  • Online .com presence management (SS & Retail)
  • Review boosting idea generation and implementation with negative review prevention/reduction
  • Develops promotional content with demand generation team
  • Prioritizes and manages regular and ad hoc requests from leadership and HQ
     

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor' s Degree with 4-6 years of consumer good industry experience is required – PLUS if experienced in accounting and finance
  • Prior experience working across multiple product teams preferred. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across product division, across multiple levels, and will multiple disciplines (Sales, Demand Gen, Operations) within the company.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills (3 years minimum)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and word. (pivot table, vlook up, filters)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
  • Demonstrate competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels.
  • Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and accomplish goals within established time frames.
