As the Data Management Platform (DMP) technical expert, the Adobe Audience Manager (AAM) Analyst candidate will combine strategic guidance with a strong level of technical development and implementation experience to achieve business objectives and marketing roadmaps and milestones.
Daily, the Analyst will focus their efforts on the aggregation of first-, second-, & third-party audience data, audience segmentation, media activation, and reporting using the DMP across several online marketing channels, such as CRM, paid display, paid social, and paid search marketing.
Broadly, the role requires the candidate to understand the importance digital data plays in online campaign planning and activation. The role also requires helping the business partners plan and manage their online audiences effectively through the use of enterprise-level marketing technologies, including the Adobe DMP.
Gather business partners’ online marketing requirements and convert those requirements into technical solutions and implementations, including the creation and definition of traits and segments within the DMP.
Provide technical guidance around online marketing business objectives, requirements, and key performance indicators (KPI), and convert those into technical requirements (e.g., Adobe Analytics SDR, reporting/dashboard requirements, etc.).
Assist with the development of measurement capabilities using the DMP to evaluate audience composition, audience overlap, effectiveness, etc.
Proactively partner with internal teams and business units around their marketing roadmaps and initiatives to support current and future campaign requests.
Proactively communicate and align expectations with business partners and vendors throughout each project’ s lifecycle.
Oversee the onboarding of data with third-party destinations and vendors.
Audit the DMP & audience processes frequently to ensure audience validity.
Create and manage a trait taxonomy within an organized folder structure.
Create and lead training sessions for Senior Leadership and peers as needed.
Share industry trends, DMP best practices, and use cases with Senior Leadership and peers as needed.
Requirements: 1-3 years of experience working with an enterprise-level DMP (Adobe Audience Manager highly preferred).
1-3 years of experience working with an enterprise-level analytic platform (Adobe Analytics highly preferred).
Strong understanding of advertising tracking scripts, pixels, and cookies for analytic platforms, DSPs, and cross-device tracking.
Experience working with programmatic platforms and DSPs (e.g., DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), Oath, etc.) preferred.
Experience eliciting requirements and providing project documentation. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate approaches based on the client request or business need.
Ability to think " big picture" and operate in a logical manner, break down processes and investigate issues to determine potential solutions.
Ability to read and understand complex requirements documents, identify gaps, capture one-off use cases, etc.
Balance multiple, competing priorities effectively, track documentation and deliverables in an organized manner.
Deliver customer requests on time and deliver high quality solutions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
/////OTHER EXPERIENCE\\\\\ ||| Experience working within digital marketing ecosystems (e.g., CRM, Paid Search, Retargeting, Mobile App, etc.) and online marketing best practices. ||| Experience using debugging tools (e.g., Charles, WireShark, Omnibug, etc.). ||| Experience in a digital advertising/marketing agency preferred. ||| Experience in the Travel, Entertainment, or Theme Park industry preferred.
This role is supporting a few upcoming projects – a data management platform. Very big undertaking. Very visible, going all the way up to senior leadership. Day to day is super visible – will be working with the Marketing Science side of business. The marketing science team is responsible for interpreting data (long, medium, short analysis, strategic marketing) based on the data that this team will provide.
Outgoing personality is a plus.
Someone who enjoys a group environments, different personality types. Will be dealing with diff levels, managers, etc in analytics. With different personalities, need to be able to deliver the message, timeline, elicit/gather requirements, etc.
