Fleet Technical Operations Analyst

ektello is looking for a Fleet Technical Operations Analyst for one of the most iconic client in Detroit, MI. Our client is among the world’ s largest automakers. They’ re a multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes vehicles and vehicle parts. From electric cars to heavy-duty full-size trucks, they provide a complete range of vehicles that meets the needs and expectations of drivers on a global scale.  

  • Support operations for fleet telemetry experiences
  • Case management for fleet business partners / drivers
  • Support fleet customer resolution of platform/channel issues/incidents
  • Cross-functional collaboration with IT partners, external business partners, and call centers
  • Develop a key understanding of API’ s leveraged by 3rd party interactions (consent, opt-in/out, remote commands, vehicle data)
  • Define and execute FMEA and SOP’ s for Operations support
  • Development of high-level reports for case management / operations status
  • Definition and execution of sanity checks for API experiences
  • Strong understanding of operational procedures, protocols and communication paths
  • The primary responsibility is to be responsive to our monitoring/paging system and manning the Connected Consumers Innovation Lab (CCIL)
  • Manages the resolution of alerts detected by the CCIL monitoring system
  • Creates tickets and contacts the appropriate team member to address specific technical alerts
  • Interacts with and supports CCIL service consumers
  • Manages vehicle resources and assures compliance with corporate policies
  • Coordinates with corporate teams to ensure CCIL readiness with high visibility activities
  • Pursues and tracks CCIL assets globally and ensures proper storage and distribution. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Monitors the lab service consumer request queue, manages roadblock resolution and creates resolution key performance indicators.

  • Strong technical acumen, able to understand how systems interact
  • 2+ years' experience in IT operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience with SQL
  • A strong willingness to learn is critical to this roll
  • Passion/ natural drive for learning/ problem solving
  • Bachelor Degree in a Technical/ Data Driven degree
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously
  • A clear ability to manage a range of different personality types in a facilitative manner
  • Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of the organization
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • A proven ability to plan, undertake and finish activities to achieve results
  • Demonstrated commitment to keeping sensitive information confidential
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions and market experience; ability to relate them to own organization
  • Experience: 4+ years
