Master Data Analyst

 

Project:
  • Data Analyst supporting CCPA work. (CCPA is a California Consumer Privacy Act.)
  • Individual contributor contributing to data standard
  • Engaging governance status and tools
  • This group is leading this project roll out. Involved in process design, implementation, building deliverables to support compliance.
  • The project the selected contractors will be working with is to implement process and guidelines that will keep the client compliant with CCPA

 

Major Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Support Data Governance operations within the Data Governance (DG) framework, including work to:
    • Execute work related to data privacy efforts
    • Support reporting and metrics related to data standards and Data Governance operations
    • Maintain DG stakeholder relations by acting as a DG liaison between various HR, Product Development, Customer & IT groups
  • Serve as an ambassador and resident expert for Data Governance tools, technologies and best practices, including work to:
    • Maintain and ensure integrity of data governance tools implemented to support DG and subscribing systems/applications
    • Provide and approve requirements on how tools and technology should be implemented to support DG
    • Support data project teams to ensure proper use of metadata management tools during and post system deployments i.e. keep the metadata accurate
  • Other responsibilities include:
    • Actively participate as a team member on project teams to ensure operational readiness of new deployments or enhancements
    • Support enterprise-wide data governance initiatives 

 

Must Have:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience previous professional experience
  • Big picture thinking
  • Critical review abilities
  • Ability to engage stakeholders effectively
  • Experience with Data Governance and Data Privacy
  • Collaborative Data Governance Tool (company and off the shelf data governance software)
  • Business Analysis or metric reporting, process facilitation
  • Open to PMP certification, 6 sigma certification (preferred)
  • Very strong capabilities in Microsoft suite

 

Qualifications
  • Candidates should have a reasonable understanding of:
    • Business analysis and process design
    • Business information analysis
    • Data privacy and governance
    • Data profiling and quality analysis
    • Master data management
  • A bachelor' s or graduate degree (in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field) and approximately 3-5 years of related work experience in Data Governance, Process Facilitation, Business Analysis, Leadership Reporting, or similar
  • Experience in data, business process, information technology or comparable experience working as a business partner or information technology professional desired
  • Knowledge of Collibra Data Governance Center, Oracle Hyperion HFM, DRM, FDM, Planning and IBM Infosphere Business Glossary/Information Governance Catalogue and Information Analyzer preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to support all phases of the delivery life cycle, including requirements definition, design, development, conversion and testing
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork and partnerships
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite abilities in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint
