Position Summary:
The position ensures the best in class execution for Samsung Reverse Logistics Operations (Fulfillment, Quality, Returns Management and Business Coordination). Our candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and daily management of the Reverse Logistics Operations. This role will maintain relationships across all Logistics functions and other SEA business units to ensure that inbound and outbound transfers/shipments are processed within the documented KPIs. They will also actively manage the Reverse Logistics Operations for SEA and identify areas for performance improvements. Problems and issues faced are vague, and require reasoning of broader set of issues and variables to identify root cause within job area. This role will provide customer support to various internal and external customers. This role will actively perform operations system transactions in SAP. Application of in-depth, advanced knowledge and skills in warehousing, 3PL management, and Industry trends, with the keen understanding of external environment factors that may disrupt/change reverse logistics activities.

Common Essentials/Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must have track record and ability to maintain positive team dynamics
• Manage 3PL in the daily execution and management of Logistics operations activity
• Generate and provide key insight into Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI and Forecasting reports
• Track and trace transfer shipments daily and proactively to avoid any delays
• Coordinate with Internal Customers, 3PLs and/or Vendors to ensure issues are resolved immediately
• Support business units on urgent shipments and new-launch models by establishing capacities and lead-times, closely monitoring each event milestone
• Provide analysis and reporting through data process and maintenance (Productivity, KPI, Capacity and Returns management)
• Oversee end-to-end order life cycle to ensure flawless execution and delivery of Samsung product
• Lead, Direct and Coordinate applicable activities to provide effective logistics services and achieve deliveries within the KPI target
• Coordinate and execute special projects and ancillary services as requested
• Interact with management within the organization and with external contacts, serving as a subject matter expert
• Support inter-department projects/activities as determined necessary
• Work in a continuous improvement spirit across a highly-matrixed working environment
• Work proactively with 3PLs, Vendors and Customers to ensure continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for future and current distribution channels
• Stabilize processes to reduce lead-time and lower cost per unit
• Assist Warehouses and Customers on critical shipments and non-standard requests
• Identify strategies to improve lead-times, exceptions and production delays
• Maintain processes in full compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory guidelines
• Responsible for solving technical problems and responds to requests from internal and external customers
• Makes decisions within guidelines and policies
• Complete all other duties as assigned

Background/Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of High-Tech supply chain and/or logistics experience
• Bachelors Degree Required
• Prior experience in warehouse operations required
• Knowledge and experience in Reverse Logistics and Industry a plus
• Managed 3PL relationships at a strategic level for 5+ years
• Experience in a high-volume, automated operation, including development, selection and installation of automation
• Managed 3PL relationships at a strategic level for 5+ years.
• High-Tech supply chain and/or logistics experience
• Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills
• Strong understanding of wireless products and services desired
• Prior management experience preferred
• Prior experience with SAP, Manhattan or similar business enterprise purchasing, inventory control and/or procurement management system required.
• Expert ability in working within Excel and PowerPoint
• This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment
• Experience in developing new processes, systems and reporting from ground up

• The ability to read, interpret and simplify complex information from various documents to create clarity and ease of understanding

• Ability to clearly define objectives, identify tasks and work assignments, give direction and make quick decisions based upon applied knowledge of alternatives and work experience
