The QA Architect will work closely with Developers, Solutions Engineers, Software Architects, & Project Managers, providing business solutions and will be responsible for providing the Information Technology group with Load and Performance Testing Strategy, Oversight, and Functional Execution of Performance Testing.
The QA Architect Ensures Quality Assurance Processes are followed and executed across all agile and non-agile teams. Embodies a strong drive for advancing QM capabilities, Automation, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery.collaborates across the organization to design performance tests to demonstrate we are meeting the customer experience.
The QA Architect coordinates numerous Performance Testing in support of WVC and RCI related business solutions and software development life cycle methodologies. Works collaboratively with business and IT leaders to drive the success of business objectives.
This role is responsible for defining the performance testing strategy and tools for the QMO organization and socializing its need within the larger organization and to champion performance engineering, manage performance metrics, and manage the execution of performance tests.
The development methodologies include both Waterfall and Agile with the Scrum Methodology.
- Primarily continue to transform QA performance function. Identify and recommend new technologies/tools to support organizational continuous integration/continuous delivery strategy in the performance test engineering field. Work with the team to expand and maintain existing performance test automation suites. Ensure QM function aligns with broader Agile IT direction as well as provide recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the QA performance assigned resources including contractors, technologies and execution (including metrics) to ensure organizational goals are achieved, compliance obligations are met and risks are managed. This includes implementation of best practices, toolsets, and vendor partners to deliver on these goals.
- Good understanding of Performance Testing and Quality Assurance methodologies required. Software Testing or Test Management Certifications from ASTQ or QAI (CSTE, CQA, et al) preferre
- BS Degree in Information Systems or related business area. Major in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics a plus.
