Strategic Planning Marketing Manager

* Experience devising strategic direction and overseeing effective implementation of integrated product marketing campaigns across multiple consumer channels

* Experience giving direction, coordinating workflow, and driving key decisions between internal stakeholders, strategic planners, channel owners, and creative agencies

* Savvy in both traditional and digital marketing

* Able to handle demanding deadlines and multiple priorities at once

What capabilities are needed:

The Strategic Planning Marketing Manager leads the strategic planning and go-to-market arm of our client' s in-house advertising agency team.


• Oversees account planning function, collaborating with marketing, sales, revenue and other teams to devise integrated marketing briefs for top tier advertising, branding, and product launch initiatives

• Leads the go-to-market team to build the roadmap to launch new products, programs, destinations and guest experiences into the marketplace to ensure our vacations are strongly differentiated with high visibility against competitor brands

• Devises and directs up-to-the-minute delivery timelines and channel plans for multiple campaigns, working with each channel to review and soundly guide their independent planning and strategies, while defining a holistic integrated approach to ensure cohesive, consistent messaging.

• Analyzes and forecasts current market challenges, provides competitive analysis, and puts forth marketing solutions

• Clearly outlines campaign goals, sets measurable KPIs, and analyzes effectiveness of campaign in market

• Continually calls upon product knowledge to ascertain the cause-and-effect of interdependent products and how other campaign strategies may need to be adjusted in light of new tactics

Required capabilities:

• Strong communicator, highly organized, deadline driven, detail oriented

• Well versed in channels including: web, digital media, social, out of home, email, and print

• Strong understanding of web/digital environments and user experiences; digital-first approach

• Confidently drive messaging angles that influence channel content development and appeal to target consumer segments
• Devise clear, integrated strategic approach for channel teams’ marketing efforts

• Set and manage project plans, from big picture to individual channel activation breakdown

• Possess the business depth to interface with senior leaders as well as the communication and influence skills to build strong relationships and drive results company-wide.

• Innovative, team-oriented, with the desire to participate in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

• Ensure flow of information including latest developments, status reports, etc related to new products, among all working teams

• Experience creating and compiling project estimates

• Adept at documenting and accurately conveying feedback between creative groups

• Experience organizing, storing and facilitating transfer of large files between teams
