Systems Administrator


The purpose is to work providing a technical solution that meets their requirements and delivering those solutions in a supportable and redundant infrastructure. The Global Network Services organization provides technology engineering and support services that utilizes evolving technology which benefit the growing and changing needs of The Global Network Services organization is comprised of Networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, Firewalls Active Directory, DNS, and PKI.

The Systems Administrator position participates on the Domain Services team. The Domain Services team provides the following services

• Active Directory Services

• DNS Services


• Group Policy Services


• Federation

• Group Management

• GTM Services

• LDAP Binding Services

• Security Compliance and Audit

The Systems Administrator is required to work collaboratively with all technical teams and have excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills. The candidate will be a member of a growing team of individuals that will provide front line support for the Domain Services team. The candidate must be able to manage ticket queues assigned to him/her daily. The candidate must be able to manage their time across several different types of requests. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be excited about the opportunity to work directly with our customers. The candidate must be able to follow standard operating procedures and follow direction from the Domain Services Engineering and Management teams. The candidate must have the ability to interact with our customers through phone, email and instant messaging. The candidate will be required to have the ability to learn across many different levels of infrastructure and services. The candidate must have a flexible work schedule to be able to rotate shifts to accommodate 24 x 7 support.

The Systems Administrator must have experience in at least three of the following areas:

• Active Directory administration

• DNS administration

• Certificate administration

• Domain name administration and registration

• ServiceNow

• Windows / Linux / Mac administration and configuration

• Networking experience Qualifications/Requirements

• College degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience of 5 + years

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Customer Service

• Basic computer / networking troubleshooting skills

• Experience or certification in Windows/ MAC / Linux operating systems

• Excellent Customer Service Skills Desired Characteristics

• Expertise working on a team with motivated cross-functional individuals

• The ability to work with demanding customers

• The ability to work as part of a team and share knowledge

• The ability to work directly with Customers and understand their needs and concerns

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work across platforms and with various support teams
