Position: Technical Project Manager

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 13-months +

 

Top 3 must-have skills/requirements:
  • Have minimum of 3+ years of experience in 4G wireless EMS, OSS, tools, product management; experience with 4G macro components preferred.
  • Scheduling and tracking of timelines for all FOA/FIT and Trial related scheduled tasks.
  • 3 + years of previous technical Project management experience

 

Job Description:
  • The responsibilities of the Project Manager are to plan, organize, schedule and coordinate projects/programs related to Change Management. 
  • This includes working closely with customer and internal teams to provide strategic guidance to teams and project management on the tasks that are scheduled.
  • The Project Manager will also schedule and manage meetings with appropriate departments, Points of Contact and customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent Telecom Project Management experience in Change Management to produce results within timelines and schedule.
  • The goal of the Project Manager is to ensure all programs including FOA/FIT and Trials deliver the desirable outcome to the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Have 3+ years of experience in 4G wireless EMS, OSS, tools, product management; experience with 4G macro components preferred
  • Experience with and capabilities in applying Change Management requests along with any inherent risks.
  • Scheduling and tracking of timelines for all FOA/FIT and Trial related scheduled tasks.
  • Ensuring that identified systems, tools, databases, and the data repository are updated accurately and timely within the JIRA system
  • Ability to coordinate other resources in a matrix environment across Sales, Engineering and Development
  • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects related to Change Management
  • Work with various internal and customers to determine suitable strategies and objectives
  • Develop and govern deadlines, timelines, schedules and other activities
  • Coordinate cross-project activities
  • Assess and provide program performance reporting to Upper management/Executive management
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions with the data that affect the project on a regular basis
  • Efficiently resolve projects’ higher scope issues
  • Excellent communication skills required in the performance of presenting findings, or translating data into an understandable document. Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
  • Critical Thinking skills are required to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on findings
  • Excellent Time Management skills and the ability to multi-task competing priorities
  • Must have precise attention to detail to ensure the analysis is vigilant and accurate to come to correct conclusions
  • Updating internal and customer with the completion and the status of the tasks.
  • Risk identification and mitigation of any issues impacting any scheduled activity.
  • Coordinating communication and escalations as necessary, both internally and externally
  • Coordinating any governance-related activities
