The main function of a Business Intelligence Analyst is to consolidate and analyze channel sales data such as Channel Traffic, Brand Share, Channel POS Sales and Finance Net Sales data by sales account, region and product categories to derive business insights. The analyst will coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization and 3rd party vendors to identify opportunities and review findings with leadership.
Job Responsibilities
• Communicate with the cross functional teams and each accounts PIC for delivering and updating the forecast and actual sales data in time.
• Extract and transform Channel Sales data, Web & retail Traffic data and Brand Presence data on a weekly basis and maintain the weekly sales & traffic combined dashboard
• Extract and transform regional and channel sales datasets to analyze the periodic performance by account and product category and derive business insights.
• Coordinate and guide the annual and monthly Sales Planning with cross functional teams
• Analyze the business performance and trends via data analysis and identify opportunity areas, with clear and concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries
Skills
• Experience in business analytics, management consulting, product management, marketing, business planning, competition analytics, and strategy development is preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including PowerPoint slides
• Proficient with Excel data manipulation, large data sets, pivot tables etc.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business/data analytics or equivalent training required
3 years experience
• Proficiency with all Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
