About the Role
Our El Segundo set shop is seeking a CAD Drafter to support the design and fabrication of custom environments for trade shows, exhibits, toy displays, television commercials, and photo shoots. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys turning concepts, sketches, and ideas into precise 2D and 3D shop drawings that bring builds to life.
You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, and our wood, metal, and model shops in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
What You’ll Do
Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings including shop drawings, assembly drawings, patterns, and templates
Convert sketches, design concepts, and verbal/written instructions into clear fabrication-ready drawings
Support fabrication teams by producing drawings used in wood, metal, and model shops
Revise and update drawings based on feedback, field changes, and production needs
Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to project timelines
