Commercial Licensor Marketing Analyst - El Segundo, Hybrid
Scope: 6 month w2 contract with high chance to extend or convert, includes options for benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holiday pay.
Hourly Rate: $44.41
Important to Note:
Some Marketing experience would be helpful.
*Industry Background in Consumer Products is required
*3 to 5 years of experience.
*MBA is preferred.
*4 days in the office and Friday is remote.
*PowerPoint, Excel, and Tableau skills are required
*Additional experience with Consumer Products within the entertainment space would be a plus
The Team:
Entertainment Partnerships & Business Management
The Entertainment Partnerships & Business Management team is responsible for managing relationships with partners (studios/licensors) and for maximizing our joint-licensed businesses around the world.
This team manages relationships at both Global and Regional level, across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, serving as the portfolio manager on behalf of the company and the partner. For newly available IP/properties, our team also manages commercial pitches and deal negotiations with regional external partners.
We focus on commercial execution by primarily working with our commercial teams across the globe, as well as our product & marketing teams, to ensure we jointly bring our best plans to retailers and consumers and ultimately drive the business. This often involves cross-company collaboration with many teams such as sales, finance, etc.
Our partners include notable licensors of IP.
The Opportunity:
The Analyst will be a member of a dynamic team focused on collaborating with our partners to maximize their licensed brands/properties. This role will be a strategic partner to many internal & external teams. The ability to understand the big picture, while getting her/his fingers dirty in the needs of the joint business, will serve the team well. This position reports directly into the Senior Director of the key portfolio.
What Your Impact Will Be: Day-to-day and special project responsibilities within our Partnership team.
Key Responsibilities might include:
• Drive key commercial planning milestones collaborating with Senior Director to ensure alignment with global business objectives and partner priorities
• Deliver actionable demand and sales insights that help guide regional and global strategies
• Own forecasting processes that support business planning
• Translate POS and market performance data into strategic recommendations that inform both internal decision-making and external partner alignment
• Lead competitive and category analysis (e.g., Circana/NPD) to identify white space opportunities, optimize product plans, and support new business proposals
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by setting agendas, synthesizing discussions, and driving follow-up actions for global commercial meetings and partner touchpoints
What Were Looking For:
• Ability to effectively communicate across stakeholders: experience setting agendas, leading meetings, and driving teams to clear action items
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with Tableau familiarity
• Strong analytical background with ability to present strategic roadmaps concisely
