Communications Consultant, Global Supply Chain Communications (Retail Client) - Remote, California
Scope: 9 week w2 contract with high potential to extend, fully remote but must sit in California
Hourly Rate: $35/hr
We’re looking for a strategic, creative Communications Consultant to help shape and deliver compelling employee communications and storytelling across Global Supply Chain and Product Development. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams around the world to drive engagement, clarity, and alignment—while also supporting executive communications and major enterprise events.
Reporting to the Director, Internal & Executive Communications, this role blends strategy, execution, and collaboration in a fast-moving, global environment.
What You’ll Do
Partner with global Supply Chain leaders and enterprise teams to develop and execute integrated communication strategies
Lead internal communications plans including key milestones, newsletters, town halls, and supplier communications that engage employees and drive action
Serve as a trusted liaison between Corporate Communications and Supply Chain leadership, advising on message timing, channels, and storytelling approach
Measure and evaluate communications effectiveness; iterate and introduce new mechanisms to continuously improve impact
Support executive communications, including drafting internal messages, preparing talking points, and assisting with quarterly town halls and leadership forums
Help plan and execute major events such as the Supplier Summit
Ensure all communications reflect the brand voice, purpose, mission, vision, and values
Who You Are
A confident individual contributor who thrives in a highly collaborative, global environment
5+ years of relevant experience in corporate or internal communications; supply chain or international business experience strongly preferred
Exceptional writer and storyteller with experience supporting executive communications and leadership presentations
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Creative, proactive, and solutions-oriented with the ability to move ideas from concept through execution
Data-driven communicator experienced in defining KPIs and demonstrating results
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) and tools such as Mailchimp
