Data Analyst
BILINGUAL ENGLISH/KOREAN, REQUIRED
**W2 Contract** HYBRID – remote and required onsite T-Th out of Ridgefield Park, NJ** $20-25/hr **
Data Analysis to support Product Liability Ops team’s growing need of business intelligence, insights/dashboard management, strategic development, advanced analysis techniques, customer experience, and related best practices. Contribute to the strategic business decision making by deriving insight from the market and consumer data on the main issues of the product and customer care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct periodical as well as ad hoc analyses to identify critical insights to drive customer care performance and inform strategy development for new initiatives and growth opportunities through platform/data available
- Understand PL journeys – ensure data and systems are developed with the relevant functions that generate win-win that will allow PL to connect the dots and identify and prioritize opportunities to improve and/or create processes.
- Learn PL operations across different lines of business and leverage those understandings to ensure the direction of projects and activities support stakeholder needs.
- Perform and monitor Ops agents in analyses to identify opportunities and develop actionable recommendations through a rigorous, data-driven process; work proactively to uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution.
- Support other team members in customer care and service order submission/logistics data analysis/data entry/track & maintain trackers, reports, etc.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Excel - Ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks.
- Experience with Python, Hadoop (Hive, Impala), or similar systems
- Experience developing Tableau dashboards (or similar platforms [Power BI, Domo, etc.])
- Analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis
- Experience with business process design/improvement, including gathering requirements, documenting workflows and developing specifications (business framework and wireframe design, technical and QA documentation)
- Experience to interact with IT teams (internal and external partners) to foster better data/system understanding, sourcing, flow, etc
- Systems familiarity in SAP, CRM, call management tools or similar/related systems
- Experience with major CRMs is a plus
- Comfortable learning new platforms and technical skills related to data
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Korean / English fluency (required)
