Job Description

Studio & Merchandise Assistant Contract: 6-Months, potential for extension
Pay Rate: $24/hr
On-Site: San Francisco, CA About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Studio & Merchandise Assistant to support the daily operations of our Creative Studio and Visual Merchandising team. This role is essential in ensuring product samples are accurately tracked, organized, and readily available while maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-prepared studio environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and takes pride in keeping processes streamlined and organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize seasonal product samples for the creative studio and visual merchandising teams

  • Track incoming and outgoing samples, maintain accurate inventory records, and communicate delays or discrepancies

  • Assemble, maintain, and organize sample racks, closets, and storage areas

  • Support studio set preparation, breakdown, and overall workspace organization

  • Maintain studio cleanliness and operational efficiency

  • Assist with seasonal projects and coordinate sample donations

  • Provide administrative and day-to-day operational support to the team

  • Photograph studio samples and maintain visual records as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail, studio support, merchandising, or sample/inventory management preferred

  • Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email; ability to quickly learn new systems

  • High level of accountability, accuracy, and follow-through
