The Opportunity
We are seeking a Sales Tax Administrator to join our U.S. Indirect Tax team. This role will support activities related to the filing of Sales/Use tax, unclaimed property filings, and additional non-income tax-related filings for U.S.-based entities. The position will involve collaboration with offshore tax teams and internal departments and will report directly to the Tax Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain due date listings to ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions.
Process payment vouchers and prepare related mailings.
Submit electronic returns and payments via state websites; organize filing backups and state correspondence.
Assist with gathering documentation for non-income-related sales and use tax audits.
Support miscellaneous non-income-related tax filings, including annual reports, business licenses, and unclaimed property reporting.
Review and validate exempt documentation requests from business units and suppliers.
Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
