We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics and Return Operations Specialist for a 12-month contract position. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and processing customer return shipments, ensuring smooth communication and reconciliation across multiple teams. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and is comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
What you will do
Manage the end-to-end process for all customer return authorizations, including the logistical processing of shipments from customers to our warehouse.
Reconcile claims, resolve invoice discrepancies, and address inventory variances to ensure data accuracy.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Warehouse Operations, Logistics, Transportation, Finance, and Supply Chain.
Analyze logistics documentation to ensure accuracy and determine the necessary actions for returns processing and resolution.
Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and recommend appropriate, sustainable solutions.
Use data analysis and reporting from various systems to address routine problems and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What you will need
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of applicable experience in a logistics, supply chain, or operations-related role.
Required proficiency in SAP for managing logistics and supply chain functions.
Advanced Excel skills, including experience with V-lookups, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in order management and customer service is a plus.
Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse operations.
