HRIS Specialist – Workday Techno-Functional

**W2 contract** ONSITE out of Plano, TX ** $45-48/hr

The primary focus is the maintenance of data integrity and administration of the HCM systems, in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This position supports the North American service region as part of a Global company. The individual will be a point-of-contact for HRIS, leading initiatives, capable to document requirements, test system changes, assist with Workday release testing and training. The role will involve analyzing and documenting data flows for process improvement opportunities. Strong Workday (3+ years experience) in core areas of Security, T&P, Recruiting, Advanced Comp, Reporting and EIBs.
Responsibilities include (not limited to):
  • Tier II support and ticket management for Workday
  • Documents processes related to Workday and other HRIS systems
  • Manage end to end employee data flow
  • Integration support with 3rd party vendors (new and existing)
  • Participate in and contribute to project planning and activity for HR systems, including managing small projects independently
  • Meet with management, subsidiaries, vendors, technical teams and others as needed to discuss and resolve problems
  • Must use discretion and independent judgment
  • Gather, build and document business requirements
  • Develop and deliver training
  • Create and process EIB loads for business processes within Workday
  • Security Partner for Workday
     
Top Three Skills:
Current Workday Experience, Excel (V-Lookup and Pivot Tables), Critical thinking and problem solving
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or 3+ years of HRIS Workday experience (WD certification and SHRM certifications are a plus)
  • Recent Workday HRIS experience required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality to sensitive employee information
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Proficiency in problem analysis, issue resolution, organization, planning and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentation skills including preparing and delivering training material
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel - V lookup and pivot table knowledge is a must
