Bilingual HR Business Partner (English & Spanish), On-Site W2 Contract, Jonestown, PA 

Please note candidates must be fully bilingual with both English and Spanish.

SUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner plays a key role in ensuring we continue to engage, support, and retain our DC workforce. As a key member of the team, the HR Generalist will touch on all aspects of HR: performance management, recognition, engagement, employee relations, benefits, and culture. They will collaborate closely with the HR Manager, as well as PADC business leaders, to help drive initiatives that support the organization’s goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all non-exempt employee relations concerns, investigations, and employee discipline; provide effective solutions.
  • Partner with business leaders to conduct employee relations investigations in a timely manner; review and collect fact findings for appropriate resolution.
  • Provide guidance to business leaders on conflict resolution, corrective action, disciplinary documentation, and coaching conversations.
  • Coach leaders to manage and maximize the skills and capabilities of their team and create a culture of empowerment and accountability.
  • Provide guidance to business leaders and employees to ensure full understanding and practical application of HR programs, practices, and policies.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives across the DC (e.g., team building, fun events, holiday calendar, etc.); empower culture from within.
  • Assist employees with questions pertaining to benefits, leave administration, accommodations, and compensation; partner with appropriate departments as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with employees out on leave to facilitate a timely return to work; relay communication to business leaders where needed.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of employee leaves and accommodation requests.
  • Actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement within the human resources team; make suggestions and champion action plans around those ideas.
  • Assist with regular HR initiatives, such as Open Enrollment, Global Pulse Survey, Compliance Training, etc.
  • Partner with the HR Manager and other members of the HR team with special projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 2 years in an HR Generalist role.
  • 2+ years of experience with managing employee investigations and conflict resolution.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Comprehensive organizational development and change management experience. Navigate ambiguity with ease.
  • Ability to build and facilitate trusted business partnerships across multiple functional groups within the HR organization.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, including, but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, Unemployment, Workers Compensation, etc.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong analytic skills, ability to analyze data, and solve problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing proactive solutions to HR issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, performance management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritization, problem-solving, organizational skills, and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to conduct presentations and present data on tables and spreadsheets.
  • Able to operate under pressure and facilitate a team-building environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Bilingual – Spanish.
