Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support the enhancement and modernization of our eLearning curriculum. In this role, you will be responsible for updating existing training modules to align with UKG's new user interface, ensuring all learning content remains accurate, engaging, and user-friendly. The ideal candidate has a strong background in eLearning development, experience with modern instructional design tools, and the ability to independently manage content updates while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Update existing eLearning courses to reflect UKG's redesigned user interface.
Replace and refresh screenshots, videos, graphics, and other visual assets throughout training materials.
Revise instructional content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with system updates.
Develop and edit interactive eLearning modules using Articulate (preferred) or Adobe Captivate.
Create or update AI-generated training videos using Synthesia.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate content accuracy and ensure training meets business objectives.
Perform quality assurance testing to verify functionality, navigation, and learner experience across all updated courses.
Maintain organized project files and version control throughout the content update process.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional Instructional Design experience (internships do not qualify).
Hands-on experience developing eLearning content using Articulate Storyline (preferred) or Adobe Captivate.
Experience creating or editing training videos with Synthesia.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Experience updating existing learning content, including screenshots, videos, and instructional copy.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure content accuracy.
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple deliverables and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting software or SaaS product training.
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment.
Knowledge of UI/UX changes and translating software updates into effective learning experiences.
