Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Packaging Engineer, to assist in overseeing mobile device packaging development, design, engineering, launching devices from kick off to production packaging and managing the testing processes with testing vendors
Primary Responsibilities:
Mobile device packaging engineering and testing
Create palletizations using CAPE software
Modify drawings in a 2D Design Software
Collaborate closely with Sourcing Specialists, Launch Ops, Process Engineering, Quality, suppliers and the Packing Line.
Reporting of launch readiness as part of master planning process
Maintain management systems for tooling, documentation and devices
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in packaging engineering, related field or other engineering degree from an accredited college or university, or related experience.
0-3 years job related experience in packaging engineering and project management with proven results.
