Insight Analytics Cross-Platform Location: New York, NY or Los Angelas, CA Payrate: Up to $42/hr
The Manager role supports the VP of NBC Cross-Platform Insights & Analytics, serving as a primary contact for NBCU Entertainment clients regarding audience and program viewership information for NBC broadcast network. This New York or Los Angeles-based role will manage critical series review projects, handle internal PR inquiries and collaborate on linear and shared cross-platform program forecasting, and overall support the NBC Cross-Platform Insights & Analytics team in providing quantitative research and guidance to clients and partners across the company. This team is part of the larger Decision Sciences group, which provides program performance tracking, forecasting, business and brand strategy, portfolio optimization, and all forms of research-based guidance to functional areas across the portfolio - NBC broadcast network, Cable Entertainment brands (Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, USA and Universal Kids), and Peacock.
Job Duties:
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Nielsen measurement and systems, specifically NPower and more advanced NPower reports (segmentations, audience profiles, duplications, etc.)
Strong writing skills and experience with writing data-based insights
Must be well versed in Microsoft Office applications with significant experience working with Excel and PowerPoint.
Level of expertise in working with large datasets and data management/visualization tools (i.e., Tableau, Domo, Power BI)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all staff levels, providing research and data insights both verbally and in writing
Familiarity with fundamental media principles

Experience extracting data and insights from external/internal tools (i.e., Nielsen NPower) and/or from database environments using SQL; proficiency in programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., Python, R)
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience focusing on analytics for an entertainment, technology or marketing performance company.
Support the NBCE Research team in all aspects of quantitative multi-platform analysis across the portfolio with a focus on NBC broadcast
Leverage various data sources (i.e., Nielsen, internal) and collaborate with Peacock’s Content Evaluation/Analytics teams to generate streaming/cross-platform insights and reports (program performance, audience profiles, viewing behavior, etc.) for shows and content shared across linear and streaming
Assist in creation of presentations designed for educating leadership and large client baseWork with team to generate linear forecasts (with strategic point of view) and pacing reports
Identify and validate network/program highlights for Communications team for use in press releases and executive leadership presentations
Collaborate with Peacock Research team to create holistic analyses and reviews of shared NBC content
Help contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at NBCU
