Summary:
The main function of a marketing manager is to lead the research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing manager is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.

Job Responsibilities:
Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.
Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.
Develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff and oversee their daily activities.
Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.
Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.

Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time.
Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Expert knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Expert ability to develop marketing and pricing strategy.
Expert knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 8-10 years related experience required.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, this role is responsible for strategies and initiatives designed to accelerate brand experience through holistic brand messaging and marketing campaigns centered around 2 of its core pillars; Sustainability and Care.
This is a brand marketing role managing owned and paid marketing channels to successfully drive campaign objectives. Managing multiple brand/x-lob marketing campaigns. This role partners across internal and external agencies; and with partners on a global platform at  HQ.

Role and Responsibilities
• Manage brand strategy and execution to drive business results across all owned and paid brand marketing channels to successfully drive traffic and campaign objectives
• Successfully navigate a complex organization of multiple businesses and product categories
• Ensure business input and feedback is aligned and meets objectives
• Integrate HQ-led strategies with local SEA-led campaigns, to achieve winning plans across business categories for US consumer
• Manage execution of campaigns to drive awareness and connection with GenZ/Millennials
• Work with various lines-of-business to sync plans and ensure message breakthrough in-market
• Support Brand Pillar leads in PMO-ing B2C campaign development for the most effective in-market results
• Partner with the owned channels and Performance Marketing (Paid Media) teams to plan and align appropriate support for brand campaigns
• Report and optimize for each campaign in-real-time incl. optimization decisions, escalation of issues for quick resolution on brand campaigns to drive actionable learnings to improve each and every subsequent campaign; retrospective reporting
• Prepare and present content and analyses that drives actionable decision making and recommendations for the organization
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Digital Advertising, with 5-8 years of experience.
• Experience in a Brand Marketing role, strategy and/or execution, client-side preferably in a CPG or tech company. Agency side experience will be considered.
• Experience with D2C, Social, Performance marketing, CRM strategies and executions.
• Relevant experience of Post purchase customer care/service marketing, Sustainability communications and branding will be preferred.
• Business acumen and communication skills to act as partner to leadership within the lines of business and functional COEs.
• Digital marketing experience directing design, developing and executing successful ROI driven campaigns across all major digital channels.
• Experience developing and understanding digital commerce impacting bottom line, as well as the ability to interpret digital analytics to implement/drive strategy.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and establishing effective working relationships with cross-functional team in varied areas, including global HQ counterparts.
• Ability to lead complex projects, and work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
• Ability to efficiently scope and execute concrete strategic initiatives
• Structured analytical and conceptual thinking
• Strong sense of urgency and speed to action
• Detailed communicator with both written/verbal ability to direct teams in clear, concise and calm manner
• High energy, works with a sense of urgency, highly responsive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in developing marketing and sales presentations, using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Driver of operational efficiency
• Problem-solver with optimistic attitude & passion for delivering results
