Mobile Application Engineer

**W2 CONTRACT** REMOTE** Target W2 $72-82/hr

As a Mobile Application Engineer joining the AirCover Tech team for our client, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining features supporting the AirCover for Hosts product, in addition to platform-wide features to support a range of customer service products.
 You will bring together your passion for great UX, your experience building performant and reliable mobile applications, your knowledge of patterns and practices in iOS and Android development, and your track record of building network-connected applications — and you will play a pivotal role in building the future of our software. You will have the unique career opportunity to work across multiple product teams and make a significant impact on our guest and host communities around the world.
 Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience developing Android and iOS applications at scale with a high volume of users
  • Proficient in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Swift, SwiftUI or UIKit, and UI architecture
  • Experience shipping iOS and Android network-connected apps to the App Store
  • Strong product sense and a passion for UI/UX, with a proven ability to translate vision into high-quality solutions
  • Strong coding skills, with a solid understanding of data structures, asynchronous programming, and engineering best practices
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages and frameworks, preferably using Java
  • Understanding of microservices and Kubernetes with experience working on APIs and end-to-end development from developing to testing
  • Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to participate in team meetings, working sessions, and code reviews
