Pathology Office Coordinator
Onsite, Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM
On-site, Main Hospital, 1250 First Ave, 9th floor, Room S-903, NY, NY 10065
Interview process (virtual/onsite, number of rounds)  First and second interview virtual
Expected length of assignment? until 2/1/2025 and permanent placement conversion possible at that time. 
Pay: $20-$25 hour Pay increase with performance 
 
Job Description:
75% Transcription which includes extracting information from EMR regarding patient’s medical history and family history, checking all patient identifiers are correct, assigning to attending, escalating issues to management. 25% clerical/administrative duties (emailing, assisting attendings, overdue case review, etc.) and possibility of accessioning lab orders.

You Will:
•    Abstract relevant clinical information from patient's charts data and assign for Pathologists’ review
•    Accurately enter data and maintain case databases
•    Provide clerical and administrative support to Pathologists and DMG lab
•    Assist the accessioning team in accessioning incoming cases
•    Provide email and telephone coverage using the correct techniques and procedures for clear communication
You Have:
•    High School Diploma/GED (Bachelors preferred)
•    2-4 years of relevant experience
