Onboarding Administrative Assistant

W2 CONTRACT - TEMPORARY TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE - Immediate start, role ending 10/01/2025
Hours will be 6am-2pm out of the Spring Hill, TN Plant. Target Pay $18-21/hr

•    What typical task breakdown? Facilitating orientation for new hourly employees that are being brought in on a temporary basis, working with the union counterpart. They’ll also be doing administrative work, things like filing, changing Sup orgs in Workday and answering questions regarding labor work relations. But the role is heavy on the administrative work!

•    What are the key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role? Teamwork, communication, attention to detail, accuracy is key for data entry.

•    What is the biggest challenge starting off in the role? Navigating the business because it’s such a large site. Knowing who to contact when they need assistance. 

•    What is the leadership style of the executive team? We are super collaborative and work as team. 

•    How much autonomy does this role have in making strategic decisions? Not much. But if they hit the ground running, they will be given additional responsibilities to grow their scope to see what they are capable of.

•    I have high expectations. What’s important to me? If they see something that there’s a better way of doing it is highly favorable. Just because a process is in place, doesn’t mean that it’s best. Coming in with unique ideas to make the process better. Accuracy and responsibility are huge! They must be a self-starter understanding their role and responsibility.  I will train them, but they’ll need to be a self-starter.

•    Are there any specific tools or systems they will be expected to use? Experience in Workday is a huge plus! Must be able to utilize and be skilled in PowerPoint, Microsoft office and Excel.
