Press Measurement Lead

**W2 contract** REMOTE** Target $96-106/hr

We are looking for a Press Measurement Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping how they measure the impact of our Communications team's efforts on a global scale, and in feeding insights into their strategic planning. If you’re passionate about analytics, have a keen understanding of communications metrics, and are eager to collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate clear, actionable insights, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Charge in Measurement Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive global measurement strategy that elevates communications efforts by identifying key insights that will feed leadership teams planning strategy.
 Track Our Success: Monitor team OKRs and key strategy metrics at both global and country levels, ensuring consistency and accuracy across campaigns and geographies.
Translate Results to Impact: Enhance measurement capabilities to clearly demonstrate how communications efforts drive business outcomes.
Vendor Partnerships: Manage relationships with measurement vendors (Onclusive + Newswhip) to maximize the benefits of their platforms and ensure seamless adoption among the team.
Empower the Team: Develop processes to streamline measurement tasks for comms managers, conduct regular training sessions, and provide ongoing support through consultations.
Deliver Insights: Produce in-depth recurring reports (quarterly and annual), monitor proactive message pull-through, and write insights for their consumer, editorial, corporate, and trust and safety communications teams. Present your findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Innovate Measurement Tools: Improve measurement capabilities by managing the integration of Onclusive API data to help create bespoke data tables and design insightful dashboards in collaboration with technical partners.
Experience That Matters:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in communications with a strong focus on media monitoring or press measurement.
  • Autonomous and Agile: Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Insightful Communicator: Share insights and strategic viewpoints effectively with leadership.
  • Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented, capable of drawing conclusions from complex datasets, and producing easily digestible insights for diverse audiences.
  • Tool expertise: Proficient in platforms like Brandwatch, Onclusive, Cision, or Newswhip for media monitoring and impact measurement. Strong skills in writing complex Boolean searches.
  • System Designer: Experience in designing systems that enhance team coordination and efficiency.
  • Presentation Pro: Strong skills in presentation-building, storytelling, and data visualization.
  • Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL/Python or the ability to integrate data from multiple sources reliably is a big plus.
