Job Description
ektello is partnering with a digital media and entertainment leader to find several Analysts with 2-3 years of experience to join their team and work on special projects. This is a long-term W2 contract that is hybrid in Universal City, CA. The team is onsite 3 days a week and remote 2 days a week. We offer PTO, paid holidays, medical, and 401k benefit options.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise between our Film Technology Solutions team and the Film Finance Business Community, focusing on participations and residuals to understand business requirements for system updates
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying value-added and non-value-added activities to solve design challenges
- Conceive, design, test, and develop innovative solutions based on analysis and organizational objectives
- Evaluate and explore new and existing processes, equipment, and materials as an input to scheduling methods, performance metrics, and financial standards
- Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow team members during projects
- Utilizing industrial engineering and financial principles to provide input on the capital plan
- Evaluate current and future processes, identifying opportunities to streamline production and prevent inefficiency
- Research and test design ideas to determine feasibility, utilizing Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to formulate/support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities
- Utilize project management tools to coordinate the completion of complex industrial projects, involving multiple business functions, department managers, and outside contractors
- In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing
