Job Description

Summary:
The function of this Product Specialist role is to support US smartphone product planning by delivering relevant primary research. This role will initiate new product research and also support a large scale of product/consumer research with other research teams and product planning groups.

Job Responsibilities:
• Design, execute, analyze and report insights using qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Support the product research team by helping to define research objectives and research projects
• Analyze and synthesize research using multiple research methods and sources
• Collaborate closely with partners (external vendors) and peers to generate effective research plans to ensure outputs and deliverables are internally actionable

Skills:
• 5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including: research design, recruiting, analysis, video usage, reporting
• Proficiency using online survey tools, especially dscout and Qualtrics
• A successful candidate should be grounded in numerical and data analysis
• Verbal and written communication skills in fluent English, and willingness to work in a team environment
• Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus

Top 3 Skills:
(1) 5+ years of experience doing consumer research, with an emphasis on qualitative techniques including: research design, recruiting, analysis, video usage, reporting
(2) Proficiency using online survey tools, especially dScout and Qualtrics
(3) Bachelors degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude and work in consumer electronics preferred

Education/Experience:
• Bachelors degree in related field, with demonstrated technical aptitude. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in the consumer electronics industry is preferred
• 5-7 years of experience is required.
