About the Role The Production BOM Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Product Development and Production teams by ensuring accurate and timely Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle. This position partners closely with Design and Production stakeholders to support seamless execution from concept through commercialization. Key Responsibilities
Create, enter, and maintain BOMs throughout the product development cycle, ensuring accuracy and completeness at every stage
Support BOM development and execution in close partnership with Design, Production, and cross-functional teams
Manage BOM updates in alignment with design changes, material updates, and production requirements
Maintain a high level of data accuracy within the PLM system, ensuring all inputs meet company standards
Prioritize and manage workflow to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced development calendar
Proactively communicate status updates, potential risks, and timing impacts to key stakeholders
Support process efficiencies and best practices related to BOM management and PLM usage
Qualifications
Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy
Demonstrated experience working within a PLM system
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proactive, collaborative communicator with a team-oriented mindset
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Prior experience in apparel production, product development, or BOM management preferred
