About the Role: We are seeking a Production/Broadcast Engineer to provide front-line technical and broadcast engineering support across multiple studios and control rooms within our Stamford facility. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of all broadcast systems and technologies for live, day-of-air programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of maintenance expertise, troubleshooting skills, and project management/system engineering experience. This position requires flexibility, as support is needed seven days a week, with some periods requiring availability as part of a 24x7 schedule. Key Responsibilities:
Perform system-level troubleshooting of technical facilities, including control rooms, studio equipment, audio systems, and associated computer systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance on studio and control room equipment.
Assist Studio Operations with technical setup in control rooms and studios.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement technical solutions that meet production initiatives.
Install and update equipment and system software.
Repair and troubleshoot equipment down to the module level using industry-standard test equipment.
Manage projects, including system design, integration, and commissioning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in broadcast engineering, technical support, or a related field.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and knowledge of studio/control room technologies.
Familiarity with broadcast computer security policies and system maintenance.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts as required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with production teams.
