Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Production/Broadcast Engineer with strong technical expertise in live production environments. This role supports day-to-day broadcast operations, including break/fix troubleshooting, systems maintenance, and technical support for studios, production control rooms, and post-production workflows. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, a team player, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will work closely with transmission teams, systems engineers, post-production staff, and graphics teams, ensuring seamless broadcast operations. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily system checks across control rooms; communicate with directors and technical managers to identify and resolve issues.
Provide break/fix support for EVS, Evertz, routing systems, RTS, Calrec, Avid, Chyron, and Sony broadcast equipment.
Assist with project-based initiatives, preventative maintenance, equipment cleaning, and technical environment updates.
Respond to emergencies and resolve technical issues under pressure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high production standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong broadcast engineering background (production, broadcast, or studio engineering – not operator level).
Experience with professional cameras, large routing systems, and technical workflows.
Familiarity with:
Core routing & IP video systems (SMPTE 2110, AES67, Spine/Leaf Architecture).
Broadcast equipment & systems: Sony cameras/switchers, Calrec audio, Chyron, AZ Edit, EVS Playback or Cerebrum, Magnum, GV Orbit.
Understanding of HDR and LUTs in a broadcast environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience).
