Project Manager – HRIS SuccessFactors

**W2 Contract** HYBRID – Southfield, MI **

BASIC PURPOSE
Manage projects within the portfolio owned by the HRIS team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and holding others accountable for meeting deadlines
  • Help to build effective project teams
  • Delegate project tasks to individuals best positioned to complete them; includes seeking support from elsewhere in the organization when necessary
  • Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serve as point of contact for teams when cross-functional groups are assigned to the same project
  • Communicate with executives to ensure projects remain aligned with business goals
  • Create and facilitate communication routines with stakeholders (e.g. gate reviews)
  • Adjust schedules and targets as needs or financing for the project change

Required Skills/EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of and experience with various project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication at all levels of an organization
  • Leadership
  • Able to work autonomously to deliver results
  • Organization and follow-up
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years working as a project manager

Desired Skills/EXPERIENCE:
  • Project Management Professional certification
  • IT project management experience
