ektello is partnering with a Global entertainment leader to find a Sales Tax Admin to join their team in East Aurora, NY. This is W2 contract that includes PTO, paid holidays, medical, and 401k benefit options. Remote opportunity or hybrid in East Aurora and comfortable with an onsite role. Our rate is $23-$28/hour during the contract.
What Your Impact Will Be:
• Actively involved in submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns
• Assist in non-income related sales and use tax audits
• Assist with various miscellaneous non-income related tax filings including but not limited to annual reports, business licenses, and unclaimed property reporting
• Research requests for exempt documentation from Business Units and suppliers for validity
• Compliance with Mattel Corporate Accounting Policies and Procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Qualifications:
• Experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PCs and software including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in open office setting.
