Retail Systems & Support Analyst

**W2 contract, min of 6 months** ONSITE out of Plano, TX ** Target W2 Rate $30/hr

Our client’s Retail operation is seeking a results-orientated IT administrator to manage their retail store technology infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for managing existing platforms, hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve AV and IT issues and maintaining networks and servers. This position will also play an important role in the selection, development, deployment of all new additions to the technology deployed into customer facing environments.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, maintain, and deploy network and server systems
  • Develop a streamlined process for upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software with guidance from the Sr. Manager of Technology and Systems
  • Establish and enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
  • Strengthening and managing internal security through inspection, audit, and approval processes
  • Creating user accounts and managing access control
  • Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize retail technology and systems
  • Documenting and standardizing processes for use by retail team and back-office support teams
  • Support new technology rollouts for testing and deployment
  • Develop strong relationships with Global company, and local Systems and Security teams
  • Assist Retail Store Operating Partners with guidance on deployment and technical support for systems used within Samsung operated retail stores and retail partner locations.
Qualifications:
  • Need a mix of hands-on AWS, Meraki, AWS Firewall, and Windows Server experience Important to have experience with all aspects of the AWS, Meraki, Firewall, Server as this is all interconnected, and a single team manages the entire space.  A successful individual will have the ability to work through a discovery phase and scale accordingly.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with AWS cloud, required hands-on services such as EC2, VPC, Security Groups, S3, IAM, Lambda.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with expanding and maintaining Windows Server environment within AWS cloud, An example of this would be to take existing environment and scaling it appropriately and possible building new and cutting over from existing.
  • Required hands-on:
    • Creating and integrating Windows Server Domain Controllers VM
    • Active Directory Users and Computers
    • Group Policy
    • Domain Controllers.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Meraki dashboard and physical network equipment. Troubleshooting network issues at physical location along with backend systems (AWS connectivity/firewall) Scaling network in multiple retail locations across the US
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time with possibility to increase up to 40% to support future growth of the organization
