Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish design principles and apply UX best practices to translate user and business needs (and technology constraints) into experiences and solution concepts that are meaningful, easy to use, and engaging.
  • Conceptualize, design, and communicate effectively through organized UX artifacts, including sketches, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and related documentation that represent the user paths.
  • Provide UX consultation and guidance to internal business partners and implementation teams; communicating effectively (both verbally and in writing) with all levels and roles in the organization.
  • Distill business requirements, market research, and user needs into actionable insights to derive, articulate, and test hypotheses.
  • Understand usability heuristics and methodologies for crafting effective usability requirements; leverage this understanding to evaluate and provide heuristic recommendations for user interfaces.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using a variety of methods, including managing a third party.

Required Qualifications:
  • Remarkable passion for customer experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in human-centered design; constantly keeping abreast of evolving user needs, latest trends, best practices, and translating them into new or optimized user experiences.
  • Excellent problem solving, conceptual thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with business, technology teams, and third-party vendors; working cross-functionally and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Solid understanding of WCAG Level AA accessibility requirement standards.
  • Strong bias towards action in a sometimes-ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including being able to explain UX design rationale, to align and persuade stakeholders, and to drive conversations.
  • Knowledge of industry tools: presentation programs (Keynote, PowerPoint), UX design programs (Sketch, Adobe, etc.), analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence in all directions.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to handle multiple demands/priorities and achieve organizational objectives.
  • A portfolio of complex digital experiences for global brands across mobile, tablet, and web channels.
  • Experience engaging diverse audiences.
