The position is a Parking Lot Coordinator in an automotive Shipping Yard.
Coordinate various activities of vehicle checks and shipping in yards where they are held.
Working on several cars that need attention. Will be coordinating with suppliers and others for cars that need assistance. Help with reconnecting car batteries. Working with contract houses to understand what the attention the car needs and the location.
This role is essentially a quality inspection on vehicles before they hit the vehicle market.
The purpose of the team is to protect the quality of the car for a better experience for customers.
The ideal Candidate needs to have customer enthusiasm and needs to be a good communicator.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. College degree or equivalent training preferred.
0-2 years of experience required.
Coordinate various activities of vehicle checks and shipping in yards where they are held.
A basic understanding of technology will be needed, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
Will be coordinating with the rest of the group, understanding the location of the cars.
There is one lead to report to.
The work environment will be outside 80%. Will have access for facility for breaks and bathroom.
The ideal person will deal with brand new vehicles and must like to be outside.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Location: Lansing, MI | 100% Onsite | The work environment will be outside 80%. Schedule: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm Duration: 12-month W2 contract Pay Rate: ~$15.00 per hour
