Summary:
The main function of a marketing analyst/coordinator is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing analyst/coordinator is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Job Responsibilities:
Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals.
Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
Direct trained survey interviewers.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
10+ years related experience required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, update and maintain product detail pages and overall product listings of select SKUs
• Ensure all product information, description, images, prices, specs are accurate and optimized
• Work with data partners to analyze site and sale performance
• Implement strategies to improve product visibility and conversion rates
• Execute promotional campaigns and special offers in coordination with marketing and business
• Work closely with cross functional teams including but not limited to (Brand, Product, UX, Business teams, Creative leads, Agencies, & HQ+.
• Effectively and creatively communicate ideas and visions as a story to others with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Consumer Experience journey mapping and thoughtful site placements of products and promotions through site.
• Project manages all aspects of launch from conception, execution and post launch optimizations
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business or 4+ years similar experience in site merchandising
• Working experience in eCommerce programs and merchandising programs
• Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Fluent in JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent project management systems
• Strong project management, problem-solving, verbal/written communication, and multitasking skills.
• Strong ability to operate in a matrix environment
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Passion for building relationships and proactive communication
• Motivated and strong detail-oriented approaches
• Must be organized and highly detail oriented
