Job Description

Social Media Specialist

**W2 Contract** ONSITE out of Harbor Point (Baltimore), MD ** Target W2 $35-40/hr

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development, production, and execution of social media content
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and team members across social media programs to ensure alignment and coordination of content
  • Responsible for executing the legal review and retention processes for social media content to ensure all posts are compliant
  • Assist with pulling metrics and reporting to help analyze the performance of social media content
  • Lead editorial calendars execution, intake processes and workflows to support always-on social media programs.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to interact and engage with comments from our community
     
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • 2+ years of experience of coordinating digital marketing, ideally social media programs.
  • 2-3 years of strong project management experience
  • Ability to work well within highly collaborative, multidisciplinary teams across various departments.
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape and how to use each social media platform to generate results.
  • Understanding of social media metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal skills; excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
     
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Experience with social tools such as Khoros, Sprinklr or HootSuite
  • Experience working in Microsoft SharePoint
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably financial services
  • Experience with social media community management
