Job Responsibilities:
Executes a project by leading cross functional teams individually. Examples would be product engineering design changes required to support $900M business.
Able to monitor critical multiple projects at one time and critically assess the impact of a changing situation.
Able to clearly identify interdependencies between multiple projects and alert management.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a good understanding of the major projects going on in the CC portfolio, with the goal of being able to communicate to leaders of high level status. The goal would be to be able to work with project leads and make sure all communication to leadership is clear and impactful.
Develop a strong understanding of the PMO budget and use proficiency in excel to help PMs with the tracking of the budget throughout the Fiscal Year.
Ensure compliance to BD quality procedures and quality conduct of projects, including design, data summary and interpretation, report and manuscript preparation and review adherence to applicable regulations.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree is required preferably in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering or other scientific discipline.
Minimum of 2+ years relevant Project Management experience in highly regulated industries, preferably medical device industry.
Minimum of 2+ years of team leadership in product design and development with progressively increasing complexity and responsibilities.
Track record of successfully delivering results through leading high performing teams.
Experience working with multiple regulatory agencies world-wide is a plus.
Experience planning multiple work-streams, identifying risk and implementing action plans to optimize time lines and reduce execution risk
Solid understanding of Design Control procedures per FDA guidance and knowhow to apply to the development process of medical devices for mass production.
Knowledge and Skills:
Complete understanding of a wide application of project management principles, theories & concepts
PMP certification is preferred
Sense of urgency, ownership, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
Demonstrate leadership, learning agility and action orientation when facing uncertainty.
Demonstrates business acumen and working knowledge of front-end innovation process and business & market growth drivers & trends.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Understanding of Microsoft Project Online, Power Bi and Microsoft Office.
