Position Purpose/Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing Technology and Analytics with a passion for innovation and a visionary approach to leadership. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial individual who thrives on connecting the dots across diverse digital technologies to craft and execute groundbreaking solutions for our clients. You will lead the charge in developing scalable systems that enhance marketing performance while staying ahead of emerging trends and creating value in new and transformative ways.
This role isn’t about getting into the weeds but about staying above the fray, building frameworks that empower the team to deliver insights, optimize digital channels, and foster seamless technology integration. Reporting directly to the COO, you will drive business outcomes by integrating cutting-edge technologies, including AI, while nurturing an environment of creativity and innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a senior director role that will ultimately be responsible for a business line which includes supporting sales of these services, evaluating tools and technology. This role is a multi-faceted leadership role which will focus heavily on development of processes, policies across the following disciplines, and staying up to date with technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver innovative marketing technology solutions that drive business growth and efficiency for our clients. Focus on high-level strategy, streamlining processes, and scaling operations.
Client-Focused Innovation: Leverage your entrepreneurial mindset to anticipate client needs, proactively introduce emerging technologies, and continuously seek opportunities for new revenue streams through innovative digital strategies.
Data and Insights Optimization: Develop and oversee a holistic data strategy across all digital platforms. Lead initiatives that make data easily accessible and actionable, allowing clients to make informed, strategic decisions.
AI & Technology Integration: Be a key driver in integrating AI and automation technologies, helping clients unlock new opportunities and efficiencies. Stay abreast of industry trends, ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
Collaboration and Influence: Collaborate with leadership to align digital strategies with business goals, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering presentations that inspire confidence in our technical direction.
Entrepreneurial Growth: Drive new business opportunities by identifying potential upsells and cross-sell opportunities. Support the development of contracts, estimates, and scopes of work for new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with innovative solutions.
In addition to items mentioned above, this individual will be asked to take a lead role in the organization in several areas including:
Identify opportunities for improvement that would impact the department and/or the company, define the processes, and assist in cross-training team members on these new processes.
Develop new innovations for data enhancement capabilities, documentation, automation, templates, data warehousing, new technologies, and more.
Support the CEO, CSO, & COO by creating and/or reviewing estimates, contracts, and scopes of work for new business opportunities.
Assist with upselling to current and prospective clients.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment and support to the company, with a heavy emphasis on accounts team support.
Educating others on industry best practices for business analysis and technology as well as staying current on emerging digital technologies and trends to support your analysis and client discussions.
Develop and implement an AI strategy for integrating AI into the agency’s operations while providing clients with actionable recommendations. Establish policies on AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, ensuring best practices for responsible AI development and deployment.
Supervises:
This individual will be responsible for 4-5 direct reports and be asked to implement best management perspective including weekly 1-1s.
Required Qualifications:

Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital platforms (CMS, CRM, DAM, etc.), marketing technologies, and web development best practices. Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools is essential.
