Technical Writer AdTech

**W2 contract, onsite 3 days out of Mountain View, CA offices** $40-48/hr

Our client is looking for a Technical Writer to add to their team. This candidate should be able to independently synthesize reference materials (such as emails, prds, recordings) to create content. After creating reference documentation, they should be able to create overarching overview materials to explain the context of the collection of reference documentation. They will be responsible for the creation of reference materials including the background and context information.
Experience with:
  • Topic based writing for internal and external audiences in the Ads platform domain 
  • Data Management and Business Intelligence tools
  • Creating operational documentation
  • Documenting databases concepts, especially data models, BI principles, views, datasets, reporting and analytics
  • Create more than procedural documentation
  • Manage own portfolio of work
  • Mange Jira documentation tickets
  • Proactively work with Product Managers and SMEs
  • Unblock anything in the way of delivery dates
  • Solicit feedback on documentation and make the suggested changes and not take feedback personally
  • Work independently to fill in gaps when SMEs are unavailable
  • Commitment to high quality work
  • Confidence work independently

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of technical writing or related experience and be able to share writing samples
  • Experience in AdTech
  • Excellent English written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums; other languages are an asset
  • Experience working cross-departmentally and track record of effective collaboration
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities
  • Appetite to learn with a positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive and accurate documentation
  • Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively, and lead multiple projects/tasks in a cross-disciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to adjust to an evolving role and steady change within our fast-growing company.
  • Embrace change and is comfortable with navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Project management experience, accountable for delivery of their own work
