Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, insights-driven Web Optimization Manager to lead the ongoing optimization of our website experience. In this role, you will identify friction points across the digital customer journey, develop data-backed hypotheses, and execute A/B testing strategies that improve engagement, conversion, and overall user experience. Working closely with analytics, UX, Product, Content, and Marketing Operations teams, you'll translate complex user behavior data into actionable insights and measurable website improvements. Your work will directly impact how users engage with our digital experience and help drive meaningful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze user behavior and website performance to identify friction points, conversion barriers, and optimization opportunities across the customer journey.
Develop data-driven hypotheses based on quantitative and qualitative insights to improve user experience, engagement, and conversion rates.
Own the website experimentation roadmap, designing, prioritizing, and executing A/B and multivariate tests in partnership with Product, UX, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
Utilize web analytics platforms such as Heap, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Power BI to monitor user behavior and measure site performance against key business KPIs.
Partner with data analysts to validate findings, ensure statistical significance, and measure the business impact of optimization initiatives.
Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
Collaborate with UX designers and content strategists to improve website usability, messaging, and customer journeys.
Maintain and prioritize a backlog of optimization opportunities informed by analytics, user research, industry trends, and business objectives.
Facilitate alignment across stakeholders by communicating testing priorities, expected outcomes, dependencies, and optimization strategies.
Continuously evaluate website performance and identify new opportunities to improve digital experiences through experimentation and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in Website Optimization, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Digital Experience, Web Analytics, or a related discipline.
Strong experience using web analytics platforms such as Heap, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), or similar tools.
Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms including Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target, Google Optimize, or comparable A/B testing solutions.
Demonstrated ability to develop hypotheses, design experiments, analyze results, and implement data-driven website improvements.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to independently interpret website data and collaborate with analytics teams on deeper insights.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, UX, Engineering, Content, Marketing, and Analytics teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple optimization initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with customer journey analysis, behavioral analytics, heatmaps, or session replay tools.
Familiarity with statistical significance, experimentation methodologies, and conversion rate optimization best practices.
Experience working in healthcare, consumer digital products, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
