Workday Integration Specialist

**W2 contract, minimum of 12 months** REMOTE in Pacific Time Zone**

Maintain the Workday platform with a focus on integrations, reporting, security administration and functional configurations. Evaluate incoming technical requests from HR, Finance, IT and other groups, identify appropriate solutions and execute on them. Provide production support for all business systems used by the People, Payroll and Equity Teams.  The role requires a blend of functional domain expertise in HR, payroll, or equity operations, combined with deep Workday technical knowledge, to design, build, and maintain system integrations that streamline and enhance key business processes across the organization.

What we’re looking for: 
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead HCM engagements, providing support and configuration as well as recommending best practices in Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits and Compensation modules
  • Coordinate and execute integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data flows are accurate and complete.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for integrations, technical specifications, and change management processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support for integration issues, monitor system performance, and resolve data or transmission errors promptly.
  • Participate in Workday update cycles, assess impact on existing configurations and integrations, and implement necessary changes.
  • Work with internal development teams, vendors, and Workday support to resolve complex issues and improve integration architecture.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5-8 years’ experience configuring and implementing Workday, experience in all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, go-live, testing).
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services)
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and related integration technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage work, lead a workstream, and perform agile.  Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
