Our client is a well-known online marketplace that connects people who want to rent out their homes with people looking for a place to stay. They are looking for a Workflow Automation Specialist to add to their Engagement and Infrastructure team as part of their Public Policy department.
Their Engagement & Infrastructure team (E&I) supports the broader Public Policy department that shapes the legislative, regulatory, and reputational environment in which our business operates. Each of those groups have various data infrastructure and tooling needs to effectively engage with hosts, guests, politicians, regulators, and opinion leaders. By developing new robust no-code integrations that connect internal data and third party tools, data will be accurately surfaced to the right audience at the right time. The role will ensure that our colleagues in Policy Campaigns (Government Affairs), Paid Media, Data Science, Compliance and Comms can lean on our tooling to enhance their insights and rapidly deploy external messaging.
  • This role will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations on E&I who is the primary automation architect and strategic owner of technology operations for Public Policy. Together, they will expand upon the current automations built via external middleware (Tray.IO) and internal middleware (Retool).
A Typical Day:
  • Ensure the automated workflows across various external tools like Salesforce CRM, Iterable, Asana, Airtable, Google forms and others are stable and supported through robust quality systems and monitoring practices.
  • Under the leadership of and in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, develop and optimize new automations focused on Policy operations and marketing.
  • Collaborate with the government affairs (Campaigns), Cities, Compliance, and Advocacy teams to understand their day-to-day process challenges/inefficiencies. Translating colleagues' needs into opportunities for automation.
  • Work with the E&I Global Policy outbound communications team to improve on their existing automated intake and production processes.
  • Create documentation/resources to allow seamless handoff of automations to other people/teams.
  • Collaborate with E&I Training and Support Manager to produce internal training on automated workflow best practice
Qualifications
  • Candidates for this opportunity should experience in iPaaS, ideally Tray.IO but any similar tool is helpful.
  • Experience in workflow automation and understanding of APIs
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM, Iterable, Asana, Airtable, Google products is ideal
